| About ARD...Albert Riddle Design, inc. was founded by award winning Landscape Architect, Albert Riddle, RLA, ASLA, a certified member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Mr. Riddle is of Japanese American heritage and therefore ARD Landscape Architecture has been certified by the State of Florida as a Minority Business Enterprise as well as certified by the Department of Transportation as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
A native of South Florida, Albert Riddle studied at the University of Florida College of Architecture, Construction and Planning in Gainesville, where he received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Upon graduation from the University of Florida, Mr. Riddle embarked on an extensive overseas study program for several years, traveling and working throughout the Caribbean, Europe and Northern Africa. Through individual study, he sought to explore, in depth, the social and cultural impacts on landscape architecture and urban planning. Mr. Riddle has been involved in a wide range of project types, including commercial retail, street improvements, institutional, public open spaces, multi family and multi-use planning, residential gardens and master planning. His skills reflect the diversity of the projects and his ability to provide expertise in design, public relations, technical problem solving, scheduling and budgeting issues. The experience of working with some of the most prestigious design firms in Florida has developed a solid foundation in all aspects of landscape architecture for Mr. Riddle who credits having honed his skills in design while with the firms Wallace Roberts & Todd in Coral Gables, Savino Miller in Miami Beach, Llerena & Associates in Miami and EDSA in Orlando. In addition to strong business skills developed while operating the firm Albert Riddle Design, Inc., Riddle brings international design experience from having completed landscape architectural design projects in Europe and the Caribbean Islands. Licensed in the State of Florida, Riddle enthusiastically leads ARD, Inc. with a vision for providing excellent service to both private clients and the public realm. | ||
